Upper Canada Village’s “Alight at Night Festival” will once again offer TOY TRAIN RIDES through Crysler Park. Located just outside of the Village itself, this special experience appeals to families, especially those with young children. Everyone has seen the nostalgic image of a toy train circling around the base of a Christmas tree, ready to bring delight to the children who discover it on Christmas morning. Now kids of all ages can actually hop on board a real “Toy Train” for a magical tour!

The Toy Train is a miniature train that seats up to 60 people at time. Illuminated by a multitude of lights, it will take visitors for a round trip through Crysler Park to see delightful displays of lights all along the way, with a special surprise this year featuring some of the hand-crafted characters from the Rogers Chinese Lantern Festival, courtesy of Ontario Place ...

The Toy Train will run every night (weather permitting) throughout the Village’s Alight at Night festival. Visitors are encouraged to book their tickets early as space on the train is limited. Tickets for a train ride will sell at $3.50 for adults, $2.50 for children ages 5-12, and $1.00 for children ages 2-4 (GST is extra). The Good News is ...

Thanks to the generosity of numerous companies in the local region, rides for children 12 and under will be FREE ON DESIGNATED EVENINGS, through the companies’ nightly sponsorships of the Toy Train. Please note: children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult on the train.
