Journey of Discovery - Visiting the Village 1860s Style

EXPERIENCE UPPER CANADA VILLAGE AS YOU HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED IT BEFORE!!

Spend an afternoon “in style” at Upper Canada Village – “true 1860s style” that is, when you take a JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY through time.

Look at all your JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY will include:

- Learn the do's and don’ts of 1860s fashion during a one-on-one session in our Costume Department, where YOU will be outfitted from head to toe in 19th century attire.

- Stop in at the Photography Studio, where you will have an old-fashioned keepsake photo taken of you in your period clothes.

- Still in your 1860s' outfit, stroll "in style" to Willard’s Hotel, and settle back in the historic establishment for a full course meal served by costumed staff.

- After lunch, be picked up for a private tour around the Village in the bright yellow horse-drawn stagecoach. You’ll be sure to catch the eye (and the camera) of other tourists on site.

- Once back into your modern clothes, you can explore the site at your own leisure. Be sure to stop at the Village Store; as a JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY participant, you will receive a 15% OFF voucher when you shop during your visit.
