Top-Notch Canadian Performers Headline Family Music & Arts Festival Labour Day Weekend Looking for some best-of-the-best sing-along, dance-along and laugh-along fun to wrap up your family’s summer season? Upper Canada Village is hosting its fourth annual “Family Music and Arts Festival” at the Family Activity Centre (a favourite Village attraction throughout the summer months). The Festival will take place on Labour Day Weekend, September 5, 6 & 7, and will feature some world-class Canadian entertainment that’s fun for all ages! Colourful, live entertainment will captivate audiences at Upper Canada Village during its annual Family Music & Arts Festival, kicking off with the 19th century musical comedy of the Village’s own Travelling Tiltons at 12 noon each afternoon. The non-stop entertainment will continue with this year’s special musical guests including the eclectic Scots-Quebec group Écosse, guitarist Neil Emberg with all-time favourite band Hadrian’s Wall, and James Gordon, well-known for his original and engaging songs about Canada’s identity and heritage. Juno award nominee Mary Lambert will also be a part of the line-up with her infectious music, sheer energy and outstanding audience participation. Add in a little theatrical production, with the Rag and Bone Puppet Theatre who will be performing “A Promise is a Promise” and the David Smith Marionettes, performing “Little Red Riding Hood”, and you’ve got a well-rounded weekend of family entertainment. All afternoon performances are indoors at the Family Activity Centre and will take place rain or shine. Show times are:
