Visit the original Aultsville Train Station, an attractive 19th century wooden station, originally located in the Lost Village of Aultsville. Beside the station is an early locomotive, passenger coach, and baggage and refrigeration car on one of the few remaining sections of the original Grand Trunk rail bed. The Aultsville Train Station also houses a British Home Child exhibit. Between 1869 and 1940s, over 100,000 children from the British Isles were sent to Canada to work as indentured labourers in homes and farms.
