The Guest House
A Unique Riverside Overnight/Vacation Property and Meeting/Conference Facility

The Guest House Open Year-Round! An Ideal Location!
Located in a secluded stand of evergreens right on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, the Guest House offers a perfect getaway place for vacationing families, as well as a one-of-a-kind retreat for small meetings and conferences.

It is conveniently close to local businesses and communities, and is only 1 ¼ hours southeast of Ottawa, and 1 ½ hours west of Montreal.

So Much to Offer
The Guest House is a charming two-story farmhouse boasting hardwood floors and a spacious country kitchen (complete with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, stove, cutlery, dishes, coffeemaker and cooking utensils). It has two modern bathrooms, a washer and dryer, as well as a colour satellite TV with DVD/VCR in the sitting room, plus a computer with internet access. The house also has a large screened porch, and a barbecue is provided for guests' outdoor dining pleasure. (Tents, tarps and trailers are not permitted on the grounds.)

The upstairs has sleeping accommodation for eight, (two bedrooms with two single beds in each, and a larger bedroom with two queen beds in it), and a furnished landing area that provides a quiet space for reading or relaxing.

The main floor meeting/dining room offers a picturesque view of the St. Lawrence River and can comfortably seat up to 20 people. Visual aid equipment is available.

A double carport and circular drive allow for ample parking. Boat docking is also available.

So Much To Do
The Guest House Kitchen Within minutes of the Guest House is the renowned Upper Canada Village, designated one of the top ten historic sites in North America (open mid-May to mid-October). Championship golf at the nearby 18-hole Upper Canada Golf Course is available from spring through fall. Sandy riverside beaches, playgrounds and sports fields offer lots of summer fun at the Parks of the St. Lawrence day-use areas only a short drive away. Bring your bicycle - the Guest House connects directly to the St. Lawrence Recreation Path for hours of cycling enjoyment along the St. Lawrence River. Next door to the Guest House, Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary offers trails and activities for adventure-seekers or nature enthusiasts throughout the year, with cross-county skiing on its groomed trails in the winter.
