Self-Guided Discovery Visits

Complimentary Policy Upon arrival, your group will receive a warm welcome and be provided with a Village site map to help them along their Self-Guided Discovery Visit (available in English, French, German, Japanese, Chinese and Portugese). As your clients navigate through the streets of yesterday, they can explore over 40 heritage buildings, where they will come face-to-face with a variety of costumed historical interpreters. All are eager to chat or demonstrate their roles in 19th century society, including the blacksmith, tinsmith, shoemaker, broommaker, cabinetmaker, cheesemaker, baker, printer, mill operators, gardeners and farm families. Horse-drawn wagon and boat rides are available at no extra charge.
