As the daily hustle and bustle of the summer season fades, until "life" resumes in the spring, the Village's more than 40 buildings and winding roads through a pastoral landscape provide a perfect setting for a visual tour through time. Groups can enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Village during the off-season, as a Village guide leads an informative and scenic walking tour along the Village streets.

Upper Canada Village is Alight at Night!
November 27, 2008 to January 3, 2009

Close to 200,000 lights adorn the buildings, trees and fences throughout the Village, creating a spectacular winter wonderland. Night-time horse-drawn wagon rides are available for old-fashioned tours around the site. Fresh bread made nightly at the Village Bakery will be for sale at the Village Store, along with holiday gifts. Rides on the Toy Train and skating under the stars add to the merriment. Holiday dining is available at the Harvest Barn and nearby Upper Canada Golf Course Restaurant.
