Plan Your Wedding

Plan Your Wedding at Upper Canada Village Heritage Park

Planning a wedding and looking for a unique locale to rent. Both Christ Church in Upper Canada Village and Crysler Park, provide their own special atmosphere for the enjoyment of your wedding party and guests.

Crysler Park, located just outside of Upper Canada Village, is available for wedding rentals from May to October.

Christ Church, originally from the Lost Village of Moulinette, but now a well-known landmark within Upper Canada Village, was built in 1837 in an aesthetic style known as Picturesque. Although the building reflects the sense of order, symmetry and balance that were the hallmarks of 18th century classicism, the pointed Gothic window arches and decorative trim on the tower add a Romantic touch to the building, making it a delightful and charming historic setting for your special day. Arrangements can also be made to have a vintage melodeon (organ) played by a Village staff person, adding to the overall historic ambience.

Enhance the romance of your special day with the services of a horse and carriage. Upper Canada Village's Pommier Carriage is an attractive vis-a-vis style black carriage with gold trim, perfect for weddings. Reminiscent of the Old English Sociable, this fine vehicle has a folding top that adds to its beauty and diversity.

Upper Canada Village can also provide horse-drawn carry-alls to transport groups of 20 to 25 guests at a time from the main entrance to Christ Church.

To beautify your special day even further arrangements for your dining experience can be made through our food services.
