Come experience the enchantment of horse-drawn wagons through the night. Book a romantic carriage ride for two on the Pommier Carriage (rides are limited so book early). Hop on board a life-size Toy Train. Holiday music including carolling at Christ Church, festive dining, shopping and other seasonal surprises all add to the ambience of the event.
Now in its 15th year, the Alight at Night Festival is a favourite family tradition, and one of the region's main attractions in a variety of fun-filled Overnight Getaway Packages.
Don't forget to stop by Saint Nick's Merry Mansion (Crysler Hall) to visit our Victorian Saint Nick and tell him your Christmas wishes! Santa will be at Upper Canada Village from December 4 to December 23, 2015.

Enjoy Old Fashioned Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides
Give your feet a rest and take in the sights and sounds aboard an old-fashioned horse-drawn wagon ride which is included with the cost of admission. Departures times start at 5:15 PM and run until closing time.
Reserving Wagons for Groups
- Wagons may be reserved ahead of time for your group.
- The maximum wagon capacity is 15 people per wagon.
- A cost of $271.70 (includes taxes and administration fee) per wagon applies which includes admission for the group - up to maximum of 15 people.

Take a Trip on the Toy Train
Hop on board the Toy Train, illuminated by a multitude of lights, and take a round trip through Crysler Park.
The rides depart nightly every half hour starting at 5:30 PM and run until closing; however, there is limited seating available. Train ride is included with admission to Alight at Night. Note that the train may not operate every night due to weather conditions.
Crysler Hall Sound & Light Spectacular & Carolling at Christ Church
The star attraction at the festival guaranteed to dazzle the senses is a nightly Sound & Light Spectacular on the exterior of the stately Crysler Hall in the heart of the Village. Hear three of Santa's favourite songs: Here comes Santa Claus, Run Rudolph Run and The Man with the Bag.
It's Music to Your Ears!
Get in the spirit of the season and join our sing-along carolling on select evenings in Christ Church. Holiday music piped into the air at different locations throughout the site adds to the festive mood each evening.
Also, on certain nights, guest choirs perform and bring their gift of music to you.

Willard's Hotel - Open for Alight at Night!
Historic Willard's Hotel, located in the heart of the Village, will be open select evenings during Alight at Night. Reservations are not required but recommended. Wine and Beer available.

Follow your nose to the bakery where you can find the bakers whipping up homemade bread and cinnamon buns nightly. You can find the fresh baked cinnamon buns and bread for purchase at the Village Store. Cinnamon Buns are also available for purchase in the Cook's Tavern or at the Snack Shack next to the Bakery.
Take a break and warm up inside Cook's Tavern, now licensed to serve beer and wine, along with hot soup, chili and other snacks and hot cocoa.
The Harvest Barn
Step out of the cold and into the Harvest Barn located along Albert Street in Upper Canada Village, and you will find warm-you-up food and beverages, including a dinner special offered nightly.

The restaurant at Upper Canada Golf Course located just across the road from Upper Canada Village will be open during the Alight at Night festival. It offers full service dining in a relaxed holiday atmosphere overlooking the beautiful Upper Canada Golf Course. The restaurant is fully licensed and can accommodate groups or individuals. The Village Store
The Village Store will be open every night of the festival as well, offering a myriad of Christmas gift ideas including hand-made crafts, souvenirs and specialty food items, plus a tantalizing selection of sweets at the Village Store’s Old-Fashioned Candy Shoppe. Fresh brick oven-baked bread from the Village Bakery will also be for sale each evening at the Village Store. Adjacent to the Store, the Pantry offers a cozy venue to warm up with hot drinks and snacks throughout the program.
Fun & Lunch with Santa
Santa is going to be making an extra-special appearance during this year's Alight at Night Festival, when he drops in for an afternoon visit at the Harvest Barn on Saturday, December 12.
Starting at 1:30 PM, FUN & LUNCH WITH SANTA promises to be fun for the whole family! Tell Santa your special wishes, enjoy a hot sandwich combo, (drink and fries plus hot turkey sandwich for adults/hot dog for children), and decorate gingerbread men. Afterwards parents can browse and shop at the Village Store.

Special Needs Nights
Once again, the Village will set aside an evening - where groups of people with physical disabilities can ride in the comfort of their own vehicle to view the Village adorned in lights. Tuesday, December 8, 2015.
Only "special needs" vans or parabuses allowed - no coaches or school busses, please. For everyone's safety, we will provide one of our own trained and licensed staff who is familiar with the Village roadways in the dark, to lead these vehicles through the site.
Admission to tour the Village when part of a "Special Needs" group is $14.00 per person. Reservations must be made ahead, by calling 1.800.437.2233 or locally 613.543.4328.
