Knights of Valour – Heavy Armour Jousting Tournament

The Knights will perform two action-packed shows per day on Saturday and Sunday (one heavy armour joust and one light) in a style worthy of Kings!
Between shows, the Knights will meet with the public to talk about the history and chivalry of Knights. Their magnificent horses will be on view throughout the festival.
On Monday, June 9th, the Knights of Valour will feature an ALL-NEW tribute to Warriors through Ancient Civilizations, showcasing warriors through the ages from Ancient Greece through to the medieval era, with each paraded in full military regalia and weaponry, including a horse and chariot, gladiator games and a jousting tournament. (The horse and chariot will be on display for public viewing on Saturday and Sunday as well.)
Plus Much More ….
The festival offers continuous entertainment outside of the Jousting Tournaments. Colourful medieval performers will present a variety of interactive shows each day. Comedians, dancers, talented buskers, a wizard and wandering minstrels will create music and laughter throughout the event, adding to the faire atmosphere. Warrior and domestic encampments, archery demonstrations and armoured and unarmoured combat performances are sure to keep the excitement level high. And last but not least, the Royal Court, including the King and Queen and their entourage, will be in attendance at a number of events throughout the festival.
Falconry shows will also be offered, with the birds on display between shows.
There will be plenty of opportunity to witness the fine craftsmanship of Medieval artisans during the festival. Demonstrations in blacksmithing, armour manufacturing, leather working, chainmaille making, period fashions & jewelry making will all be part of the festival’s activities.
Children of all ages can try their hand at one of several games throughout the festival including Jacob’s Ladder, a Maze, Catapult game, Turtle Race, Skittles and more.
