Brand new, state-of-the-art interactive exhibits tell fascinating stories about life in the 1860s along the shores of the mighty St. Lawrence River. Stop for a few moments to watch an exciting audio-visual show about the national importance of the Battle of Crysler's Farm and the War of 1812.

Your clients will be given an Upper Canada Village site map (available in English, French, German and Chinese to guide you along your Self-Guided Discovery Visit.  As your clients navigate through the streets of yesterday, they can explore over 40 heritage buildings, where they will come face-to-face with a variety of costumed historical interpreters. All are eager to chat or demonstrate their roles in 19th century society, including the blacksmith, tinsmith, shoemaker, broommaker, cabinetmaker, cheesemaker, baker, printer, mill operators, gardeners and farm families.
