Best of luck to our interpreter Annelie! On her last week at the Village this summer, she was sporting a beautiful sash that was hand sewn and embroidered. 😍 It was designed from Godey's Lady's Book from 1862 and worked on for two seasons! 👏

Did you know Crysler's Store at the Village was moved here in 1958 from the Crysler property about 4km west of here as part of the St. Lawrence Seaway Project? It was built sometime in the 1840s and while its original purpose is unknown, its restoration included modifications to present it as a general store.

As we celebrate all things music at the Village today, we had the pleasure of welcoming guest performer Teilhard Frost! 👏 Visitors were introduced to traditional Appalachian old-time music in a special concert by multi-instrumentalist from the banjo, fiddle, hambone and foot stomping fun!
