School’s Out!

Celebrate Summer at Upper Canada Village with Even More Family Friendly Activities Starting June 25

School’s out for summer and Upper Canada Village is launching additional programming just in time to address what parents everywhere want to know most: what to do with kids for all those long days ahead. And even better, the answer is both entertaining and educational!

Starting Saturday, June 25 and running until Sunday, August 28 Upper Canada Village has daily interactive activities for kids at its Family Activity Centre. Here, guests of all ages can try their hand at carding wool, writing with a quill pen and historically themed crafts, or play 19th century games and dress-up.

The Travelling Tiltons will also begin daily visits starting June 25, bringing with them stand-up comedy, melodrama, singing and instrumental music to the Village streets.

The Family Activity Centre and the Travelling Tiltons experiences are included in the price of admission to the Village. Tickets can be purchased in advance on our website, or at the door, and season’s passes are also available this year to keep kids busy right through Labour Day.

One of the largest living-history museums in Canada, Upper Canada Village invites guests to step back in time to 1866 and experience 19th century rural village life. The Village offers an immersive experience with more than 40 historic buildings, traditional trades, farming, music and 19th century social life.
